The Congenital Heart Center (CHC) at University of Florida (UF), has a faculty position opening at the level of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor. The candidate is expected to have expertise in cardiac MRI as well as in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and possible interest in Cardiac CT. The candidate would join a busy growing clinical practice with significant participation expected in the Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging Laboratory along with participation in general pediatric cardiology services with opportunities for research as well as career development available. The candidate will be involved in teaching residents, fellows, medical students and other health care professionals. The candidate will be joining our multidisciplinary 15 member Congenital Heart Center. In conjunction with UF Radiology (as well as UF Adult Cardiology in adult congenital heart cases), we currently are involved in performing over 200 cardiac MRI's (with 1.5 & 3T MRI magnets) annually. The CHC Non-invasive imaging lab performs over 6,500 echocardiograms annually with continued growth in all imaging modalities. This position is for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist.
